Dublin took the first lead in the third inning when Dylan Leek scored on a wild pitch. Bakersfield answered in the fourth as Dylan Heil launched a three-run home run to left field, scoring Joe Riddle and Cade Fujii to put the Train Robbers ahead 3-1.

The Leprechauns responded immediately in the bottom of the fourth. Sam Ott delivered the biggest swing of the night with a three-run triple to left field, bringing home Tim Wagner, Dylan Leek, and Joseph Nunn Jr. to give Dublin a 4-3 lead.

Bakersfield tied the game in the fifth when Cade Fujii doubled to left field to score Joe Starick. Dublin answered again in the bottom half, as Carson Richter singled to center field to drive in DJ Aceron for the eventual winning run.
