August 1 2025 San Rafael Pacifics used a five-inning scoring stretch to defeat the Dublin Leprechauns 9-3. The Pacifics scored once in the first inning, added a run in the third and two in the fifth before breaking the game open with four runs in the seventh. San Rafael added another run in the eighth, while Dublin scored all three of its runs in the eighth inning.
A. Buckson led San Rafael’s 13-hit attack by going 3-for-4 with two home runs, three runs and four RBI. C. Wright added a home run and four RBI, while J. Bicos contributed two hits and one RBI. J. Lopez-Rios scored twice and had two hits, and K. Guerra and P. Rios each doubled.
San Rafael starter A. Valasek earned the win after allowing four hits and two runs, one earned, in 7.1 innings. He struck out six and walked two. A. Valerio allowed one unearned run in 0.2 innings before K. Casey completed the game with a scoreless ninth and two strikeouts. Dublin’s B. Theriot took the loss after giving up 11 hits and eight runs, seven earned, in seven innings.
