July 26 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 8-4 after building an early lead and maintaining the advantage throughout the game. San Rafael scored once in the first inning, twice in the second and twice in the fourth before adding single runs in the sixth and eighth innings. Dublin scored in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings but could not complete the comeback.
Aki Buckson powered the Pacifics offense with three hits, three runs and four RBI, including two home runs. Mark Hernandez added two hits, two RBI and a home run, while John Bicos contributed two hits and an RBI. Keith Whitaker scored twice and stole a base, and Kyle Guerra also stole a base. San Rafael finished with 15 hits, compared with 11 for Dublin.
Alex Valasek earned the win after allowing three runs on nine hits over seven innings with one walk and four strikeouts. Eddie Taylor recorded the save with two innings of relief, allowing one unearned run on two hits while striking out one. John Inglis took the loss for Dublin after giving up five earned runs on six hits in five innings. DJ Aceron Jr. led the Leprechauns with three hits and two runs, while Sam Ott drove in two runs.
