Dublin Holds Off Martinez 13-7

July 18 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Martinez Sturgeon 13-7 at Ofallon Field, building an early lead and holding off a late Martinez rally. Dublin scored in each of the first seven innings, including three runs in the first, fourth and seventh, to take a 13-0 advantage before the Sturgeon broke through with five runs in the eighth and two more in the ninth. Josue Rivera led Dublin with four hits in five at-bats and four RBI, adding a double and a triple. Damone Hale went 2-for-3 with four runs scored, two walks, two RBI and a home run, while Sam Ott added two hits and two runs. Victor Ceniceros drove in one run, and Charlie Bogue contributed two RBI. Brock Theriot earned the win for Dublin after allowing six hits and three runs over 7.1 innings. He struck out five and allowed one earned run while walking four. Brad Moreno recorded the final three outs, striking out three, while Makana Fo worked two-thirds of an inning. Martinez finished with 10 hits. Andrew Curran went 2-for-5 with two runs and a double, and Sam Freedman went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs, two RBI and a home run. Drew Bayard added a hit, a run and an RBI.
