June 28 2025 The Monterey Amberjacks defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 3-1 at Sollectio Park. Monterey scored single runs in the fourth and sixth innings before adding another run in the sixth, while Dublin’s lone run came in the second. Monterey outhit Dublin 9-8 and committed one error compared with none for Dublin.
Oswaldo Caldera led Monterey’s offense by going 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and one RBI. Miguel Agramonte added two hits and an RBI, while Ryan Pruett also drove in a run. For Dublin, Damone Hale went 2-for-4 with a home run and the team’s only RBI. Donnie Gardiner collected two hits, and Juan Zorola added a double.
Matt Faulcon earned the win for Monterey after allowing one run on seven hits in eight innings with four walks and one strikeout. Alberto Campos worked a scoreless ninth with one hit allowed and one walk to record the save. Dublin starter John Inglis took the loss after surrendering three runs on seven hits in six innings, with one walk and four strikeouts; Kenneth Stewart pitched two scoreless innings in relief.
