May 24 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 12-11 in a high-scoring contest at Ofallon Field. Dublin collected 14 hits and overcame 10 hits by Vallejo, which committed the only error of the game.
Dublin jumped to a 7-0 lead in the first inning, but Vallejo answered with three runs in the second and seven more in the fourth to move in front 10-9. The Leprechauns tied the game with a run in the sixth, then both teams scored in the ninth, with Dublin’s two-run inning securing the one-run victory.
Sam Ott led Dublin with three hits, two doubles, two runs and four RBIs. Damone Hale added two hits, a run and three RBIs, while Carson Richter scored twice and had two hits. Vallejo’s Thomas Fitzpatrick hit a home run and drove in three runs, and Aaron Harper contributed two hits and three RBIs.
Kenneth Stewart earned the win after allowing one run on no hits in two innings, with one walk and two strikeouts. Dante Hatchett worked 2.2 scoreless innings for Dublin and struck out five. Vallejo starter Anthony Espinoza allowed 12 hits and nine earned runs in five innings, while Shane Moore was charged with the loss after walking five and allowing two runs in 1.2 innings.
