May 22 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Martinez Sturgeon 10-4 at Waterfront Park, scoring 10 runs on seven hits. Martinez also collected seven hits, but Dublin took advantage of 10 walks and overcame one error to secure the win.

Dublin led 1-0 after three innings before Martinez scored once in the sixth and three times in the seventh to tie the game at 4-4. The Leprechauns answered with four runs in the eighth and added two more in the ninth to pull away. Dublin’s scoring included a three-run seventh-inning and four-run eighth-inning outburst.

Drew Bayard led Dublin with a home run and four RBI, while Damone Hale added two hits, a triple and three RBI. Carson Richter reached base five times with two hits and three walks, and Donnie Gardiner scored three runs. Martinez’s Sam Freedman hit a two-run home run, while Tyler Best went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and one RBI.

John Inglis allowed one earned run on three hits with three walks and two strikeouts over 5.1 innings for Dublin. Santiago Gomez earned the win after allowing three runs, two earned, on four hits in 3.2 innings while striking out three. Garret Mos struck out eight and allowed one run over five innings for Martinez, but Myles Rothfarb took the loss after surrendering four runs in one inning.
