June 27 2024 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 14-6 at Fallon Field, scoring 14 runs on 12 hits. San Rafael overcame an early 5-2 deficit by scoring four runs in the fourth inning and pulled away with three runs in the sixth and two more in both the seventh and eighth innings. Dublin managed one run in the second, four in the third and one in the ninth.
Austin Buckson led the Pacifics offense with two hits, two runs and six RBI, including a home run and a triple. J. Bicos added two hits, four RBI and two walks, while M. Hernandez went 3-for-6 with two RBI. B. Dorman scored three runs and collected two hits, and E. Santos also had two hits. San Rafael finished with 12 hits and 12 walks as a team.
Alex Valasek earned the win after working 8.2 innings. He allowed 11 hits and six runs, three earned, while walking two and striking out 12. Nico Camacho took the loss for Dublin after allowing six runs on five hits and four walks in 3.2 innings without a strikeout.
Dublin collected 11 hits, with T. Latham and D. Gardiner recording two apiece. Gardiner drove in one run, while T. Bridges, J. Ford and J. Nunn also had RBI. San Rafael committed one error and Dublin committed one.
