San Rafael Powers Past Dublin 11-6

June 1 2024 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 11-6 at Albert Park, using a 15-hit attack to secure the victory. San Rafael scored in five innings, including a four-run sixth and a three-run seventh, while Dublin answered with three runs in both the seventh and eighth innings but could not complete the comeback.

Aaron Buckson led the Pacifics with three hits, three runs and five RBI, including two home runs. Brandon Dorman and C. Blyskal added two hits apiece, while M. Hernandez scored twice and collected two hits. San Rafael also received two hits and one RBI from Jayson Summers, who contributed at the plate as well as on the mound.

Summers earned the win after allowing eight hits and three earned runs over seven innings. He walked two and struck out nine. K. Casey pitched the final two innings, giving up two hits and three runs while striking out five.

Dublin was paced by C. Evans, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBI, including a home run and a double. A. Stayte and T. Bridges each drove in a run, and Dublin totaled 10 hits. Brad Moreno took the loss after allowing 10 hits and seven earned runs in 5.1 innings, with six strikeouts.
