July 25 2023 The Lancaster Sound Breakers defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 14-6 at Doyle Park, collecting 14 hits while holding Dublin to 11. Lancaster built an early 3-1 lead, added two runs in the third and one in the seventh, and broke the game open with an eight-run fifth inning. Dublin scored three in the third and two in the fourth but was held scoreless over the final three innings.
Andrew Castano led Lancaster with three hits, including a home run, three runs and three RBI. Jacob Jablonski drove in three runs, while Michael Haith reached base four times with three walks and added two RBI. Evan Antonellis had two hits and one RBI, and Andrew Moore and Luke Smith also recorded two hits apiece.
Asahnti Ross paced Dublin with three hits and three runs. Kairee Tekra and Saul Razo each had two hits, with Razo driving in two runs. Kyle Montebon also collected two hits and two RBI for the Leprechauns, who committed six errors in the game.
Joe Richter earned the win for Lancaster after allowing 11 hits and six runs over six innings while striking out nine and walking one. Timothy Carter worked a scoreless seventh with two strikeouts. Wyatt Rowland took the loss for Dublin after surrendering five runs over 2.2 innings, while Jarod Dumont allowed eight runs in two innings.
