July 11 2023 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 26-3 in a seven-inning game at Doyle Park. San Rafael scored in every inning, highlighted by a 10-run second, a four-run third, a four-run fourth, and a five-run sixth. The Pacifics finished with 19 hits, while Dublin collected nine and committed three errors.
Blake Diggle led San Rafael with four hits, three runs and seven RBI. Kevin Johnson went 3-for-4 with five runs, three RBI and two walks, while Kyle Guerra and Nick Smith each had three hits and scored four runs. Guerra added two RBI, and the Pacifics hit six home runs: Guerra, Diggle, Beau Dorman twice, John Bicos and Dan Crossan.
Nathan Lu earned the win after allowing four hits and no runs over five innings, striking out six without issuing a walk. Teddy Hoxie and Steven Schynert each worked one inning to complete the game. Meltavis Robertson took the loss for Dublin after surrendering 15 runs, 11 earned, on nine hits in three innings.
Dublin scored its first run in the sixth inning and added two more in the seventh. Kairee Tekra had two hits and scored twice for the Leprechauns, while Calvin Cromwell also collected two hits. Kyle Montebon and Ashanti Ross drove in Dublins runs.
