July 6 2023 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 17-0 in a seven-inning game. San Rafael collected 17 hits and scored four runs in the first inning before breaking the game open with nine runs in the second. The Pacifics added two runs in the fourth and one each in the fifth and sixth innings, while Dublin finished with two hits and two errors.
Blake Diggle powered San Rafael’s offense with three hits, three runs and seven RBI, including three home runs. Nick Smith went 3-for-5 with two runs, a home run and one RBI, while Kevin Johnson added three hits, two runs, one RBI and two stolen bases. Grant Victor contributed two hits, two runs, two RBI, a double, a home run and a stolen base.
Eric Parnow earned the win by throwing seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out 18. Christian Zellner took the loss for Dublin after allowing 17 runs on 17 hits in six innings, with 15 earned runs, two walks and one strikeout.
